Statement Regarding the Inclusion of the Journal of Environmental & Earth Sciences in the EI GEOBASE Database
Dear Authors, Readers and Relevant Parties:
Bilingual Publishing Group is the publisher of the academic journal Journal of Environmental & Earth Sciences (JEES, EISSN: 2661-3190). We hereby issue the following statement regarding the journal’s inclusion in the EI GEOBASE database:
1. The journal was officially included in the EI GEOBASE database in January 2022.
On January 8, 2022, Elsevier’s Ei Content Team officially notified the journal by email (Journal Title: Journal of Environmental & Earth Sciences; E-ISSN: 2661-3190; Publisher: Bilingual Publishing Co.) that the evaluation of the journal for inclusion in the Engineering Index (Ei) Compendex had been completed, and that a decision had been made to include the journal in the GEOBASE database. The journal completed the inclusion confirmation process on January 11, 2022 (see Figure 1).
2. As of June 10, 2026, the journal has remained actively covered in the EI GEOBASE database, based on the following verification:
(1) Official GEOBASE Source List
The GEOBASE Source List was downloaded from the official EI GEOBASE database website on June 10, 2026 (see Figure 2).
(2) Official confirmation from Elsevier
On November 4, 2025, Bilingual Publishing Group contacted Elsevier through its official contact email address to verify the journal’s GEOBASE coverage status. On November 18, 2025, Jose Tercereno (ELS-HBE), an official representative of Elsevier, confirmed by email that the journal (EISSN: 2661-3190) was actively covered in GEOBASE (see Figure 3).
